Finally, we figured out an ingenious way to create more storage in our bedroom and to "pretty-it-up" beyond a normal desk.
Enter, curtains. Yes, curtains. The perfect solution to the problem. With a set of curtains and some velcro, we were able to create an area to store all the clutter in our bedroom.

I am so glad we thought of this solution. With minimal financial input - we were able to maximize our storage and save a piece of furniture. Score!
